Basic theory and operating characteristics of heavy duty truck gasoline engines and related systems required for successful completion of ASE areas T1 Medium/Heavy Truck: Gasoline Engine Repair. Lubrication and cooling systems, sealing materials, gasoline engine theory, and systems diagnosis. Prerequisite: Credit in DST 101 , DST 110 , DST 115 or instructor approval based on prior experience.
