SUR 104L - Surgical Equipment and Biomedical Safety Lab

This is a laboratory course to practice and demonstrate the principles and techniques regarding equipment and supplies utilized within the operating room. Students will identify common equipment and supplies by type, name, and function and will demonstrate proper care and handling. Students will apply principles of robotics and physics to safe patient care. Prerequisites: SUR 101, SUR 101L with a grade of “C” or better. Corequisite: SUR 104.
