BUS 229 - Project Management Fundamentals3.00 credits The ability to effectively manage a project is a vital skill in any workplace. This course will introduce the tools needed to effectively plan, implement, and complete projects in a variety of workplace environments. Topics include understanding the project life cycle, identifying resources and potential risks for each stage, working closely with stakeholders, and using the most effective applications to achieve success. Strategies for building and communicating with a team will be stressed, and Microsoft Project will be used as the foundation for this course. Corequisite: BUS 229L.
