BUS 272 - Financial Analysis & Budget Forecasting4.00 credits This course includes the application of business math skills (computation of interest, payroll, discounts, pricing, gross and net margin) and identification and analysis of financial statements and reports. The analysis component includes review of financial and accounting information for effective business decision making, internal controls and profit analysis, preparing operational budgets, preparing pro-forma financial statements and budget forecasts, and identifying accounting concepts and principles related to ethical business decision making practices and performance measures. Recommended: Minimum placement into MTH 095 and basic understanding of general accounting principles.
