BIO 227 - Introduction to Forensic Science

Introductory forensic science course exploring methodologies and procedures utilized by crime scene investigators and individual forensic laboratories. Lecture will focus on the crime scene with emphasis on crime scene processing, types of physical evidence, and its proper documentation and collection. Prerequisite: MTH 020 or MTH 070 or MTH 095 or MTH 111 or placement into MTH 070 and WRI 090 or WRI 095 or WRI 121 or placement into WRI 095. Corequisite: BIO 227L.
