COS 141 - Barbering Theory

2.00 credits
In this course, students will critically examine the rich history of barbering, exploring its evolution and cultural significance. Students will analyze and evaluate various techniques in shaving and beard design, mastering the use of a variety of barbering tools and equipment. Through hands-on practice and creative application, students will develop skills in short hair cutting and styling, basic skin care, and razor shaving, synthesizing traditional methods with contemporary trends to innovate and excel in the barbering profession. The course must be completed with a 75% or higher. Corequisite: COS 111.
