Addendum 1: July 22, 2025

WRI 227Z Prerequisite Change

• Changed to: Prerequisite: WRI 121Z with a grade of “C” or better or WRI 122Z with a grade of “C” or better.
• A student can now take WRI 227Z if they received a grade of “C” or better in WRI 121Z, instead of a grade of “B” or better.

Addendum 2: August 5, 2025

Esthetics and Nail Technology Certificate

• This one-year certificate was removed from the catalog as it is no longer Title IV eligible.

• Students who’ve already started this certificate can complete it by Spring 2026 and remain eligible for financial aid.

Addendum 3: September 15, 2025

• Title for MTH 105Q was changed to Corequisite for Math in Society.
• This change was due to HECC requirements for corequisites for Common Course Numbering courses.

Addendum 4: September 16, 2025

• The prerequisites for COS 112A, COS 112B, and COS 112L have been removed and made as corequisites. Students are to take these classes at the same time.
• Changed to “Corequisite: COS 111, COS 111L, and COS 112L.”

Addendum 5: October 22, 2025

• TEX 280 has been removed from the Cosmetology degrees:
  • Cosmetology AAS
  • Cosmetology - Barbering Certificate
  • Cosmetology - Hair Design Certificate
  • Cosmetology - Esthetics Career Pathway Certificate
• It has been replaced with TEX 281.

Addendum 6: October 29, 2025

• All Cosmetology courses and TEX 281: Added the phrase, “The course must be completed with a 75% or higher.”
• All Cosmetology courses with prerequisites: Added the phrase: “with a grade of “C” or better.”
• All Cosmetology degrees: Added the phrase, “Courses must be completed with a 75% or better.
