Covers inferential statistics with an emphasis on applications. Topics include estimation of proportions and means for a population, inferences from chi-square distributions, one way and two way analysis of variance (ANOVA), the F distribution, time series analysis, regression and correlation, and hypothesis testing. Working knowledge of Excel required. Prerequisite: STA 243Z with a grade of “C” or better.
