MMT 239 - Digital Drawing/Adobe Illustrator

Introduces the basics of digital illustration working with both vector graphics, photo editing, and fundamental graphic design concepts and techniques. Covers Illustrator interface, tools, layers, and how to create and manipulate shapes and objects. Introduces students to the Pen tool and shows how to create and transform existing shapes and build scalable vector graphics for digital or printed headers, banners, icons, characters, and logos. Introduces Adobe’s Generative AI tools for Illustrator. Recommended: ART 131. Corequisite: MMT 239L.
