ADS 157 - Risk Assessment & Intervention

An examination of risk assessment and risk management. Topics will include such areas as HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, suicide, and other areas of self-harm. Students will be able to identify ways in which harm reduction and management of high-risk behaviors in addictions counseling represents an important shift in the focus of addictions treatment.
