One-Year Certificate of Completion
This program provides a strong foundation of basic skills in office administration. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking and interpersonal skills. Course work includes related instruction requirements, industry-standard computer programs, and specific business and office administration courses.
Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the certificate, students will be able to:
- Perform specific tasks using a combination of computer applications, communication skills, and accepted office procedures.
- Demonstrate an understanding of general office skills and procedures.
- Identify common behaviors and relationships within an organization as they apply to the administrative assistant’s role in the office.
- Demonstrate keyboard skills at an acceptable speed and accuracy.
