Lecture of lab-centered course focusing on forensic DNA analysis. Emphasis placed on analysis of PCR products resolved via capillary electrophoresis - the STRs Loci of CODIS and the SNPs of mtDNA for the assessment of identity, ethnic origin, and maternal lineage.
