NSG 110C - Foundations of Nursing Practice (application)4.00 credits The student will begin applying concepts through clinical skills in classroom, laboratory, and/or clinical settings. Focus is placed on acquiring proficiency needed to carry out basic independent and interdependent nursing actions that assist patients across the lifespan in meeting their health care needs. Principles of communication, assessments, safety, and caring interventions, including accurate calculation, measurement, and administration of medications will be included. Prerequisite: Admission to the nursing program. Corequisite: NSG 110.
