Identifies and defines the following areas of exception ability: learning disabilities, emotional and behavior disorders, intellectual disabilities, severe and multiple disabilities, autism, health impairments, physical disabilities, communication disorders, vision impairments, hearing loss, traumatic brain injury, and talented and gifted.
