NSG 103 - Nursing III8 credits Provides students with the opportunity to obtain knowledge and skills needed to provide care for special populations across the lifespan, including the childbearing family and geriatrics. Concepts of mental health nursing are introduced. The ability to communicate effectively, therapeutically and professionally is emphasized. Prepares students to think critically about medications prescribed to promote wellness and treat acute and chronic illnesses. Corequisite: NSG 103L. [F]
