The Wildland Fire Science Career Pathway Certificate offers training and education for those wanting a fire science career and for career or volunteer firefighters seeking advancement. Students learn about fire behavior and equipment as well as suppression techniques.
Program Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate safe use of fire suppression equipment in training situations.
- Identify safety risks using principles of wildland fire behavior.
