Technical Studies Certificate

One-Year Certificate

The One-year Certificate in Technical Studies allows students to custom develop a program with a solid academic foundation for immediate employment or transfer to the Technical Studies AAS degree.

The program of study must be on file before commencing with a technical emphasis concentration.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the certificate, students will be able to:

• Evaluate information, sources, arguments, opinions, and issues to solve problems.
• Create and convey thoughts, opinions, or information by listening, speaking, reading, or writing.
• Become informed, open-minded, and responsible people who: are attentive to diversity; understand how their actions affect both local and global communities; address the community’s and world’s issues collaboratively and equitably.
