The Farm and Ranch Manager Career Pathway gives students the experience and understanding to monitor and care for animals, basic knowleddge of plant and animal organisms, introduction to basic welding, and knowledge of farm and ranch management.
Program Learning Outcomes
- Discuss the nutrient requirements of various livestock species and classes.
- Prepare financial statements.
- Demonstrate a working understanding of plant anatomy and physiology.
- Select horticultural crops that are appropriate to their environment.
- Identify different breeds of domestic farm animals.Apply industrial safety in the welding lab.
- Use multiple welding processes (OAW, SMAW, GTAW, GMAW) when completing welds.
