This certificate is designed to train and educate emergency medical services professionals to excel in meeting the needs of the community. Emergency medical service professionals respond to medical emergencies by providing immediate care and transportation to the ill and injured.

After successful completion of all requirements for the certificate, students are eligible to apply to take the respective state licensure exams.
