ART 214 - Native American Art through the Ages

A discussion class, this is an exploration of Native American Art forms, politics, and religion pre and post Christopher Columbus. A variety of topics will be discussed, including but not limited to the effects of Western Culture on Native American tribes and their art. Class lectures will be supported by slides, guest speakers, and museum visits. Prerequisite: WRI 121. {As Announced}
