ART 204 - History of Western Art - Beginning 30,000 BC3.00 credits This course examines visual art and architecture as a reflection of human interaction with the socio-political and physical environment of a particular era. The objectives of the course center on viewing, analyzing and comparing many art forms in a historical context, and covers the Paleolithic, Ancient Near Eastern, and Aegean cultures, beginning about 30,000 BC.
