This course examines visual art and architecture as a reflection of human interaction with the sociopolitical and physical environment of a particular era. The objectives of the course center on viewing, analyzing and comparing many art forms in a historical context, and covers the Renaissance and Baroque periods, beginning about 1300 AD.
