APR 233 - Industrial Jobsite Fundamentals & Safety3.00 credits This course gives the student a broad overview of the basic industrial skills and knowledge needed by an apprentice. The student will learn on-the-job tasks such as working with metal cutting machinery/milling machines, drilling machines, lathes, and grinders. Safety procedures relating to job tasks using metal shop machinery are an essential part of this course. A thorough knowledge of safe practices is an important part of working in any industrial setting.
