First term of a three-term sequence covering chemistry, cells, tissues, and the skin, skeletal, and muscular systems. Laboratory experiences will be used to elaborate on concepts presented in lecture. Recommended: High school biology and chemistry in the past five to seven years, BIO 101 and BIO 103.
